UGANDA SUSTAINABLE CLUBFOOT CARE PROJECT |
|
Each year, over 1000 children are born in Uganda with clubfeet. Most remain untreated and are subject to the downward spiral of deformity, disability, depression and despair.
The purpose of the Uganda Sustainable Clubfoot Care Project (USCCP)
is to make available in a sustainable fashion a universal, effective,
efficient, and safe treatment of the congenital clubfoot deformity in
Uganda.
The USCCP is a collaborative project between Makerere University, the
University of British Columbia and the Ugandan Ministry of Health.
