Dr. Stothers is currently the Head of the Department of Orthopaedics at Providence Health Care (St. Paul's Hospital) and is the Director of Undergraduate Education for the Department of Orthopedics at the University of British Columbia. His clinical practice includes adult hip and knee reconstruction, knee ligament reconstruction and arthroscopy, as well as orthopaedic trauma. Having obtained a Master’s degree in health science, Dr. Stothers has an academic interest in clinical research design, health care economics and outcomes after hip fractures.
